Across Arizona...temperatures are near 62 degrees central and near 67 degrees south. Current sky conditions are sunny central and mostly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near %, and the dew point is near degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 22%, and the dew point is near 23 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 22%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. Winds are unavailable north. Winds are from the southwest at 13 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are calm south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 79 degrees at GILA BEND. The lowest temperature is 53 degrees at FLAGSTAFF.

HISTORIC WEATHER EVENTS

Thane Creek AK reported a snow cover of 190 inches. (The Weather Channel)

The worst tornado disaster of record occurred in Chicago IL as a tornado
killed 28 persons and caused three million dollars damage. (David Ludlum)
...1997...
Ten tornadoes tore across the area, affecting the Kentucky counties of 
Adair, Metcalfe, Casey, Green, Larue, Marion, Hardin, Hart, Nelson, and 
Russell; and the Indiana counties of Scott and Jefferson. Two of the 
twisters produced F3 damage. A 28-year-old woman was killed in Metcalfe 
County as she was thrown from her destroyed mobile home. A 40-year-old man 
was killed when his house in Bonnieville (Hart County) was hit by one of 
the F3 tornadoes and blown off its foundation. This tornado injured many 
people when it caused several car accidents as it crossed Interstate 65.
