Hazardous Weather Outlook For SEVIER County,AR

630 AM CDT Fri Apr 19 2024

 DAY ONE Today and tonight.

A cold front will continue to shift across the region today, but any
thunderstorm activity should be isolated. The chance of thunderstorms
will increase later tonight as an upper-level disturbance approaches
the region from the west, mainly after midnight through the predawn
hours on Saturday. However, no hazardous weather is expected at this
time.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Saturday through Thursday.

An upper-level disturbance will continue to produce scattered storms
and more widespread showers with periods of heavy rainfall through
Saturday night before the storm system moves east of our region on
Sunday. Look for widespread rainfall amounts of one to three inches
with isolated higher amounts possible. This may result in additional
rises on area waterways through early next week. Low-lying and poor
drainage areas will also be susceptible to localized flash flooding.

 SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
