In the north, relative humidity is near 47%, and the dew point is near 52 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 46%, and the dew point is near 53 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 44%, and the dew point is near 52 degrees. Winds are from the southwest at 7 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. .DAY ONE This afternoon and Tonight
Gusty winds will remain possible through tonight but should remain
under 25 mph. A few thunderstorms are possible from northern into
central Arkansas during the overnight hours, but severe weather
is not expected.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Wednesday through Monday
Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to impact
the area later this week and this weekend. All modes of severe
weather will be possible, but there remains uncertainty regarding
the time and extent of the activity. Some parts of the state may
have to contend with locally heavy rainfall as well.
