Across Arkansas...temperatures are near 71 degrees north, near 82 degrees central, and near 80 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, mostly cloudy central, and clear south. In the north, relative humidity is near 63%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 69%, and the dew point is near 71 degrees. The heat index is near 86 degrees central. In the south, relative humidity is near 81%, and the dew point is near 74 degrees. The heat index is near 85 degrees south. The livestock heat stress category is no stress north, no stress central, and no stress south. Winds are calm north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the south at 8 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the south at 10 mph with gusts at 21 mph south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 83 degrees at Texarkana. The lowest temperature is 65 degrees at Fayetteville.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM. 
RISK  Limited. 
AREA  Along and Northwest of Interstate 44 in Northeast Oklahoma. 
ONSET  After Midnight.

DISCUSSION  
A low chance for isolated thunderstorm development will exist 
late tonight across parts of northeast Oklahoma along and
northwest of Interstate 44. Any storms that develop would pose a
limited threat for severe weather.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Wednesday through Monday.
WEDNESDAY  Severe Thunderstorm Potential  High Wind Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION  
Thunderstorms are likely to develop in or near portions of
northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas early Wednesday morning.
Storms will increase in coverage through the day as a cold
front sweeps southward. Severe weather is likely with these
storms with large hail and locally damaging winds the primary
hazards. A tornado threat will also exist with the most
intense storms. Storm chances diminish on Thursday with
dry and mild weather returning to the region for late week
into the weekend. Another approaching storm system will increase 
shower and thunderstorm chances again Sunday into Monday.
