Across Arkansas...temperatures are near 53 degrees north, near 64 degrees central, and near 66 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly cloudy north, mostly cloudy central, and cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 71%, and the dew point is near 44 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 52%, and the dew point is near 46 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 64 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 8 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 7 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 69 degrees at Texarkana. The lowest temperature is 43 degrees at .

Hazardous Weather Outlook For ARKANSAS County,AR

458 AM CDT Thu Apr 25 2024 DAY ONE Today and Tonight Shower and thunderstorm chances will continue to increase over much of Arkansas today as a warm front begins to lift northward across the region. A few of the stronger storms could produce hail up to the size of quarters, but organized severe weather is not expected. Heavy downpours could result in localized flooding. Rain chances will diminish for most areas late tonight as the surface boundary eventually lifts north of the state. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Friday through Wednesday Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms will impact the area through the upcoming weekend and into early next week. All modes of severe weather will be possible, but there remains some uncertainty regarding the overall timing and extent of the activity. Locally heavy rainfall will become an increasing concern heading into the weekend as well, along with the potential for localized flash flooding. Spotter Information Statement Spotter activation is not expected through tonight.
