Broad upper level ridging will begin to build into place and
surface high pressure settles over the Southeast. Much drier
airmass will be in place and only passing high clouds. Northerly
winds today will be gusty at times with highs in the 60s to low
70s. Light winds and clear skies will allow temperatures to cool
into the mid 30s to lower 40s Friday morning. Patchy frost is
possible across the north. A little less in clouds on Friday, so
plenty of sun will allow temperatures to warm into the low to mid
70s.
