Temperatures for the period averaged 39 degrees across the state which was 6 degrees warmer than normal and 6 degrees warmer than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 44 in the West to 39 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 4 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 37 degrees in the West to 34 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 12 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 11 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 50 degrees at POPLAR BLUFF ASOS and the extreme low was 25 degrees at PIKEVILLE 13S.
