Temperatures for the period averaged 46 degrees across the state which was +6.5 degrees from
normal. High temperatures averaged from 61 in the West to 61 in the East. Departure from
normal high temperatures ranged from +7 degrees from normal in the West to +13 degrees
from normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 31 degrees in the West to 31
degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from +1 degrees from
normal in the West to +3 degrees from normal in the East.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 0.55 inches statewide which was -0.38 inches from
normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 1.68 inches, Central 0.66 inches, Bluegrass
0.04 inches and East 0.04 inches, which was + 0.68, -0.33, -0.79 and -0.85 inches respectively from
normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 0 inches at Bardstown to a high of
10.01 inches at Paducah.
