Temperatures for the period averaged 63 degrees across the state which was -4 degrees from
normal. High temperatures averaged from 74 in the West to 72 in the East. Departure from
normal high temperatures ranged from -8 degrees from normal in the West to -5 degrees
from normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 56 degrees in the West to 52
degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from -1 degrees from
normal in the West to -4 degrees from normal in the East.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 5.17 inches statewide which was + 0.68 inches from
normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 5.31 inches, Central 3.81 inches, Bluegrass
5.27 inches and East 6.22 inches, which was + 0.64, -0.91, + 0.93 and + 1.98 inches respectively from
normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 2.29 inches at Nashville to a high of
9.17 inches at London.
