Temperatures for the period averaged 55 degrees across the state which was +8 degrees from
normal. High temperatures averaged from 65 in the West to 65 in the East. Departure from
normal high temperatures ranged from +5 degrees from normal in the West to +8 degrees
from normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 48 degrees in the West to 47
degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from +9 degrees from
normal in the West to +13 degrees from normal in the East.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 3.43 inches statewide which was + 1.61 inches from
normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 4.38 inches, Central 4.15 inches, Bluegrass
3.39 inches and East 2.18 inches, which was + 2.38, + 2.23, + 1.73 and + 0.46 inches respectively from
normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 0.69 inches at Spindletop to a high of
8.11 inches at Princeton.
